Comments

The 3 russian legends, Richter, Oistrakh and Rostropovich together, that is real history, probably the best performance of the triple concerto, may be beside Fournier, Schneiderhan, Anda and Fricsay.
This is the gold standard!

07:29 - 08:01 is what classical Music is all about. Out of this world-good ???
I prefer the same solo players, but under Kondrashin. Still do do not understand why I don’t like Karajan.
Well folks, Herr Von Karajan is my favorite conductor and I love this recording, here comes the "but
Magnifico
There was a certain degree of ascetism in the style of Rostropovich and especially Richter, Oystrakh and that is what admire, may it was a sign of their epoch: reserved power, maintained, contained, revealed at rear moments as a explosion. This leaves a lot for a listener to anticipate and then to rejoice at the moment of recognition.
So much time past, the recording is the same, I'm begging to enjoy it more and more. I could hardly believe that I was lucky to listen great Richter, Oystrakh, Rostropovich live. I'm old while they are the same.
sublime!!
21:48???
Legendary.. 4 legends together
The warmth of the Berlin Phil is like no other..
