nice music and the right sample for gramatik to bring it fast
@poundcake67 he also sang this very song at a party I was spinning at 4 years ago and brought the house down!!! didnt miss a beat!!
James Gadson singing lead NOT Charles Wright...FYI.
@unique74muzik Thanks now that explains something I found a James Gadson record and didn't know who he was but the song he sang is the same melody and music as "Love Land" by Charles Wright and a though damn he hella bit. LOL thanks for the info I'll have to do some research on that record I'll post it so you can hear it.
@pnbibbins Best 25 cents I ever spent. :)
I love this tune! Played it on my radio show last week. Good choice sir!
@mdavey72 Great minds think alike ;) FUNNY THING IS I passed this record up for like a month before I bought it. It had been in the .25 cent box...I'm going back though that box tomorrow :)
Thanks for the share Tucker , one cool track nice,
dig the music and the quality vocals though he probably wasn't even trying hard...i love the points that alvin brought up...much of the modern music is designed to corrupt...as malcolm said "they removed the shackles from the feet and placed them on the mind"...keep these nuggets coming my brother
Never heard it before......but I absolutely love it after just one listen!
What came you bring me?......more gems like this one!

A great find and a great post.
@AlvinOStewart Thank you ;) You know I just had a conversation with my brother about how most songs written now don't have the positive message of the past.
Sample; when your lover is gone and you're all alone What Can I Bring You
When there's nobody else and you can't help yourself What Can I Bring You
I can bring you new happy days I can make sure everything's okay

I want no credit, i just want to see you write this classic as should be!
p.s. A simple thank you, will do.
It would have been more appealing if the title was " What Can I Bring You" and written to fit someone the lover is trying to please. The over all recording is dope!
However the song title and context is leaning to selfishness which always does presents less appeal to the masses! My advice is to rewrite the song to suggest asking what you can do for them. Then put it on this terrific music track!
Oh... oh that was one TASTY little opening there, that first twenty seconds

The rest is delicious, too
Poundcake67, It's time the younger generation started reaching for the creative energy they're born with. Throwing a bunch of junk at people brings down the quality of existence! Promoters are bashing ears with music that is corrupting our youth, who should wake up an resist the ignorance! The Promoters don't care how stupid you get from idolizing their trash. Miraculously, many young people are tuning into more serious sounds of truly good music and replacing phony ego trips!
Best lead vocals with sly stone!
Top shelf.
Easy E's dad!
Love this song. Back in the day and today it’s Crusted. Let me tell u something
If you're a bass player, just put this stuff on shuffle and play along. This kind of music is a masterclass in rhythm and groove. Loving it
Uncut & raw!
#Loved
Love this the lyrics, the horns, the funky back beat!  This is a Damned Good piece of music!
I am so proud to be a child of the 70s , this song here is the reason why.
Had this 45 as a kid. Funk groove.
