Before the Dawn was the original first rock band of Finnish musician Tuomas Saukkonen: their style was low-tuned Post-Grunge with dual shriek/clean vocals and monotone staccato guitar riffs. Their second album, 2004's 4:17 AM is a brand od extremely repetitive D-minor/C#-minor post-Paradise Lost Post-Grunge where nothing is distinctive or particularly catchy.Highlights: "Vengeance".
